Recruiting Pipeline
Understanding the recruiting pipeline
What is a recruiting pipeline?
The recruiting pipeline consists of the stages you take the candidate through from sourcing or application to either disqualification or hiring. The aim of a hiring team is to get to the end of the hiring pipeline in the shortest time to ensure that the time to fill is reasonable.
Good recruiters are vigilant on moving candidates through the pipeline as quickly as possible and communicating with candidates at every point in the pipeline process. This leaves a good impression with candidates, even if they are not successful in their application.
We have made feedback easier with custom hiring pipelines which allows you to automate the communication to candidates during the process. To see more about this read Hiring Pipelines
Viewing your recruiting pipeline
At the top of your candidate dashboard you will see a global view of all candidates in the pipeline for all vacancies. You can change the time period using the dropdown to get an updated view of the recruiting pipeline. For more detailed reporting on recruiting pipelines, see the reports section
The recruiting pipeline for each vacancy is represented with blocks with the pipeline stage and the number of candidates for the vacancy in the pipeline stage. You can easily view the candidates in each pipeline stage by clicking on the number in the block. This will open the candidate dashboard view with these candidates selected.
Moving candidates through the recruiting pipeline
The candidate profile contains a quick action bar at the top right of the profile. There is a dropdown where you can change the pipeline stage for the candidate.
