The Candidate Profile
The candidate profile the the information that the candidate gives you. When a candidate uploads a resume, we will parse the data into structured information such as work history and education details.
Enriched Summary
We use technology to understand the contents and the context of the resume and built a summary of the candidate which is useful for a quick view of the eligibility of the candidate
Parsing accuracy
The parsing of the resume is dependent on the quality of the content. In certain cases the system will not be able to read the resume due to the formatting or layout. You will always have access to the original resume for reference.
Summary Tab
The Summary Tab contains the basic information of the candidate such as contact details, personal details, a cover note (if required or supplied) and the enriched summary mentioned above. It also contains links to their social media profiles, if found by Simplify. (See Adding Candidates for more information). You an also add tags to the candidate profile here. To edit the candidate summary, click the "Edit" button at the bottom of the summary.
Experience Tab
The Experience Tab contains the candidate's work history and educational background information. This information is editable; add more information manually if needed or delete work history and/or education information if required.
Resume Tab
The Resume Tab is where you will be able to view the original resume of the candidate, if provided. You are able to open the resume in a new window and download it for future reference.
Questionnaire Tab
The Questionnaire Tab is where you can view answers to questionnaires asked at application time, or post-application, send the candidate existing questionnaires or see the status of the questionnaires sent.
You can also create new questionnaires from this tab to send to the candidate.
For more information about questionnaires, please read the Questionnaires section.
Documents Tab
The Documents Tab is where you can view candidate documents, upload new documents such as certificates and delete documents. By default the original resume will also be found in this section.
Enriching Profile with Skills
During the parsing of a candidate CV, we will generate and include a list of skills found within the candidates resume.
Skills can be added or edited where required.
Flagging a Candidate
From time to time, you might want to indicate that a candidate should stand out, whether for positive or negative reasons.
By clicking on the flag, located next to the candidate name, you are able to add this identifier as well as notes for others to view.
Once you click on the flag, you will be given the option to make notes for the flag you have added.
Each flag, and note, is viewable and editable, offering an audit of activity and transparency in the system to your recruitment team.
