Candidate References
Confirm that candidates have been honest in their job application and interview responses with custom references.
As part of the hiring process, you may want to do reference checks for your potential hires.
With Simplify.hr you are able to create custom reference questions, or utilitse our default Personal and Professional references.
Setting up custom references is done by navigating to Manage Templates: Reference Request.
View our default templates, or add a new reference request template at the click of a button.
When creating a new reference template, name the template accordingly and complete the question fields required.
Simplify.hr offers four question types: Text, Radio Button, Check Boxes or Paragraph.
Should Radio Button or Check Boxes be selected, the user will be required to enter the answer based on the inherent function. Radio Buttons are best used for either/or selection, where as check boxes allow single/multiple selection.
Should Text or Paragraph be selected, the referee will provide prose/essay format answers.
Additionally, during creation, questions of high importance can be marked as required whilst others will remain optional.
Sending a Reference Request
From the candidate details page, navigate to the Reference tab. Complete the referee's details and select the reference template using the drop down.
Once complete, Send Request.
Reviewing Completed References
References can also be viewed under the References tab.
View the status of the reference as well as the answers by expanding on completed references.
